Discus Emporium Shipping Policy

We offer a quality selection of high end, exclusive Discus fish. Our standards for importing are strict and follow all necessary guidelines. Our fish are kept within optimal conditions at all times, and our shipping practices are rigorous.

Once your order is completed, we carefully select and closely monitor your fish for 24-48 hours to ensure they are healthy. During the final 12 hours of the monitoring period, your fish are not fed to limit their chances of soiling the water they are transported in. This practice limits the chances of your fish dying from poor water quality during transportation.

Discus Emporium's main goal is to help fellow aquarists create their dream aquarium and/or pond. Our top priority is the safe delivery of your healthy fish. 

Once the monitoring period has concluded, and your fish is tightly sealed for transport, we arrange for a Next Day Delivery of your shipment.

Discus Emporium Processing and Fulfillment Policy

All credit card orders will initially be placed into an authorized holding period until your order is ready to ship. Once the order is good to go, your payment will officially be charged.  

All orders including fish are shipped on Mondays or Tuesdays. All orders including plants will be shipped throughout the work week.

Discus Emporium Guaranteed Live Arrival

We guarantee your fish will be delivered alive and healthy. In the rare case that you do receive a perished fish, there is no need for concern. You will have the option to receive credit for the fish on a future order, or a refund for the fish.

We do not refund shipping costs.

To receive the credit or refund, you must be home to receive your delivery on the first attempt. We require you to email a clear video to us within 2 hours of receiving your delivery. Please remove the perished fish from the shipping materials and place it upon a white background or surface for the video.
